Description
Adults (typically parents and grandparents) have the opportunity to to take the same bridge classes as youth in an adult only class. Bridge is a social activity for the entire family that improves concentration, logic, deduction, planning ahead and logic. Reinforce your child's learning by discussing lesson, completing drills together and watching videos together. By lesson 3 you will be able to play mini-bridge with the family using real cards. “Having fun” is our primary goal. The BridgeWhiz course is delivered in modules. The first module covers the topics of table logistic, Play of the hand in Notrump and developing tricks using promotion, long suits and the finesse. Graduating students are offered opportunities to continue lessons with the Basic Bridge Module 2 course. The youth bridge course is subsidized by the ACBL Educational Foundation. There is a fee for the adult Bridge ($100 US, $130 Cdn). Give bridge a try and enjoy bonding with you children or grandchildren playing this competitive mindsport.
Minimum class size is 10 Adults.
